History
Fairmont Supply was founded in 1921 in Fairmont, West Virginia for the purpose of distributing mine supplies to coal operations in Kentucky and West Virginia, and later in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Illinois.
In addition to its continued emphasis on mining and energy, Fairmont has increasingly become a significant MRO supplier to industrial markets over the past three decades. These markets include: automotive, fabrication, steel, aluminum, oil & gas, construction, utilities, paper, machinery and heavy equipment, glass, plastic, and chemical industries.
